Macquarie Generation is one of the largest employers of apprentices in the Hunter Region, now employing approximately 60 apprentices at Bayswater and Liddell Power Stations. Our apprenticeships are offered each year in Electrical, Mechanical and Metal Fabrication Trades. We also offer traineeships in Business Administration in conjunction with the Hunter Valley Training Company.
The program consists of both classroom training and on-the-job training and allows apprentices and trainees to be exposed to the work environment at both Bayswater and Liddell Power Stations.
