Macquarie Generation provides a range of programs for university students studying or have completed a relevant degrees in areas of Engineering, Business, Finance, Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety. These programs include;
Scholarship Program
Our Scholarship Program is aimed at supporting local students during their university studies. The program includes a substantial payment to assist in covering education expenses and up to 12 weeks paid industrial work experience at the completion of each year of study.
Industrial Work Experience
Our Industrial Work Experience Program provides undergraduates in second to final year of studies the opportunity to gain paid "on the job" experience at Bayswater and Liddell Power Stations. Participants will be able to apply theory to practice, and have the opportunity to explore the broader aspects of our business.
How to Apply
To apply, you must be a permanent Australian resident and preferably living (or willing to live) in the Upper Hunter Region. These positions are advertised annually in September / October in local newspapers and Universities.
